OJ Yogurt Pops

This is a quick and easy treat for the kiddo’s to enjoy!! The weather is going to be beautiful here today….I’m thinking we will be whipping up a batch ourselves!! Mmmmm…the “taste’s of summer”!!

Ingredients:

1 carton vanilla yogurt (we usually buy ours from HERE)
1 can (6 oz.) concentrated, unsweetened OJ

Easy as 1, 2, 3

1) Mix well and freeze in 3-oz. paper cups.

2) Insert a wooden stick in each cup when mixture is partially frozen.

3) Enjoy!!

Dinner on a stick

So we have indeed been easing back into “school” a vary relaxed summer version that is. Pumpkin has also really taken a liking to helping in the kitchen (she has always loved helping mommy but lately the girl is unstoppable) . So we made “dinner on a stick” !!

We had tortellini kabobs

and… Grapesicles (thanks Nina for the inspiration)

Pumpkin enjoyed putting all of the various food on the sticks and she loved eating them even more!! Something about eating your food on a stick just makes it more enjoyable.

We popped our grape stick into the freezer and voila we had a yummy treat to eat!

I hope we have inspired you to put your food on a stick and join in the Summer stickwich party 🙂

Lazy Days/Random Thoughts

Once again…time has caught up with me and I have failed to blog!! Love those lazy days of summer or should I say pure craziness!!

O’how I long for Summer all year long; relaxing, no schedule, warm weather, picnics, parks, swimming, and boating. Have I mentioned how well my girls sleep on the boat?

Then something happens….O’how I long for Fall; structured routines, a schedule to follow, cider mills, changing leaves, and brisk evening walks!! Did I mention structure?

I hope you and your loved ones are enjoying your lazy days of Summer!! Happy 4th of July!!
