This has been the summer of deep conversations in our home...husband to wife, and parents to kids. From relationships, business, family to finances - I think we have quite literally hit every nail on the head. 🤔It’s been exhausting in so many ways, but undeniably convicting as well. I’m not going to lie, sometimes there are days I wake up and think “what are we doing?”. We work, we homeschool, raise and grow our own food...and, repeat. It’s a vicious circle with no end in sight. And, then there are those conversations over cookies and juice, family dinner discussions, bon-fire chats, and tween bedtime chatter .. it’s in those moments I am reminded of “why”. Because there is a vision , and a plan much bigger than ourselves. . A plan unspoken, a plan that requires no explanation, a plan to love deeply, live freely, expect nothing, and give thanks always. And, looking at these two little ladies of ours I think to myself “little girls who have dreams become women with vision.” We started back to school last week (it was time), but we have maintained a very loose flexible schedule. There has been reading (outdoors whenever possible), math, American history, arts, nature, and writing. We have been soaking up the last little bits of summer while rekindling the fire of knowledge...it’s amazing how great it feels to be back into a routine. How about you, have your littles started back to school?
